# RCS check

Run the RCS check on NumeroVero.Online: find out in bulk which numbers are present on RCS, with the same upload flow and the same universal credit wallet.

The RCS check is available today. Upload a list, see the cost before you start and get one result per row, with the same workflow as every other service.

## Cost

- 2 credits per number — minimum batch 500 numbers.

## Key points

- Same bulk upload from CSV, XLSX or pasted text
- Present / Not present result for each number
- Paid from the same universal credit wallet

## What it checks

- Whether the number is present on RCS, based on the check performed at that moment.
- Whether the row can be normalised into a valid international number.
- Whether the same number appears more than once in the job.
- Whether the check can return a conclusive answer for that row.

## The results you get

The same neutral outcomes used by every service, so exports stay consistent.

- **Present**: The number resulted present on RCS at the time of the check.
- **Not present**: The number did not result present on RCS at the time of the check.
- **Undetermined**: The check ran but could not return a conclusive answer for this number.
- **Invalid format**: The row could not be normalised into a phone number and is not charged.
- **Duplicate**: The number already appears in the same job: it is reported once and charged once.
- **Technical error**: The row could not be processed and is not charged.

## What the output looks like

Illustrative example with fictitious numbers, shown to explain the format.

### What you upload

- +39 34• ••• 4412
- +34 6•• ••• 190
- +33 6•• ••• 208
- 0039-abc

### What you get back

| Number | Result |
| --- | --- |
| +39 34• ••• 4412 | Present |
| +34 6•• ••• 190 | Not present |
| +33 6•• ••• 208 | Undetermined |
| 0039-abc | Invalid format |

## Why it can be useful

- **Multichannel segmentation**: Knowing who is present on RCS lets you build a dedicated segment instead of sending the same message everywhere.
- **Fallback planning**: Contacts not present on RCS can be routed to a channel where they are actually reachable.
- **Budget control**: Fewer attempts on channels a contact does not use means less waste in your campaign budget.

## What it does not mean

- It does not certify the identity of the account holder.
- It does not represent marketing consent to be contacted on RCS.
- It does not guarantee that a message is delivered, read or answered.
